I have a lot to talk about today. Philosophy, Medicine, Diet. Make friends with your problems to become the perfect person God made you to be. What is the problem of evil? Why does God allow bad things to happen? Why did he create an imperfect world. Perhaps it is because when people do good by choice rather than by their genetic programming, this good is far more valuable. I’m having trouble with a corn, which is a callus formed in response to a sharp malformed bone. I have signed up for the MOVE! Program at the VA Medical Center, and will see a dietician in a few days to start learning how to have a healthy weight and lose weight slowly and evenly.

I start the six-meal-a-day plan. Here is a plan from Livestrong:

https://www.livestrong.com/article/40956-six-small-meals-day-diet/

A typical day for me on this diet:

  1. Breakfast = 1 pork sausage patty, 1 egg – 210 calories
  2. Snack = 1 serving light yogurt – 80 calories
  3. Lunch = 2 small tamales with salsa and sour cream – 310 calories
  4. Snack = Yogurt or jerky (beef or turkey) – 80 calories
  5. Supper = 1 serving frozen pizza – 400 calories
  6. Dessert = Smoothie with blueberries, strawberries, juice, and greek yogurt – 200 calories

Total = 1280 calories.

I continue to lose weight and I have lost over 40 pounds so far. I hope you are being successful and preparing for a long and enjoyable life.
