Another motivational episode, which I like. I can list the things I’ve done in my life. I don’t count any as great accomplishments, but it has been exciting, and there have been some high points. What do I want the rest of my life to be like, when I’m in my teens again, 113-119, and looking back on it. What about you?
1500 calories a day, we can see that my ability to burn calories continues to rise. And by reviewing these, I can get an idea of how many calories I should be able to burn, as I am building up data from my current efforts.
So good learning and motivational experience there from episode 61.
What about now, in episode 297? I have been targetting a thousand calories a day or thereabouts, and I can lose weight there, but I’ve not been able to find the stick-to-it-iveness to make that work.
On the last check, I weighed 281 pounds, seven more than when I started this series. I continue to get on the bike and lift weights, though not consistently. Food problem department — you see, I’ve had so many problems with my feet that I have a whole department for them now. I dropped a heavy thing on my left foot. It was dark, and a cat was involved, though the cat was, of course, not injured. Anyway, that took a couple of weeks to heal, but it was enough to make me want to avoid shoes for a while. And I think that may have evened out my limp for a bit. Anyway, this coming week I plan to check with my podiatrist about getting that callus removed as soon as possible, now that it’s a new year, with a new deductible and a full FSA account. And as always, I keep trudging.
