I feel like I really am learning as I listen to this, even though it was the tail end of the Biggest Loser contest. At that point, I was talking the talk but not yet walking the walk. I couldn’t resist starving myself for the contest.
I hope, the next time I get to that point of having lost 50 pounds or whatever (that’s going to be year from now, by the way, no sooner) I can say that every pound of it was done the right way to pave the way for a long road of health ahead. So that I’m healthier as I grow older.
We’re working on this thing.
You know, you can contact me by commenting on the blog or on the YouTube channel, or just email me mail@runningafever.com. You know the good thing about the Biggest Loser contest was taking that journey together. And now we’re taking a much healthier one, you and I.
UPDATE 9/3/21. I Finally weighed nekkid. I get up, do my stationary bike workout, then weigh before having anything to eat or drink. The starting point for this journey is 274 pounds on September 1. There are 17 weeks left in 2021, so the goal for this year is to lose 17 pounds and weigh in at 257. I have a feeling it will be more in the beginning though and less as we go on, but I’m going to try very hard to keep that pace.
