It is obvious that I am out of shape, unhealthy, and need to make a change. What to do?
I am back at Lake Atalanta in Rogers, Arkansas. It’s good to be back out and doing a full two-mile walk for the first time since last year. It’s beautiful, and there is a lovely fog over the far end of the lake.
I don’t need a new plan to make the required changes. What I need to do, is to follow the plan I already have. The plan works; the plan is good. I don’t have to worry about the plan not working, coming up with something new to get a different result. I don’t want a different result; I want the same result.
The plan is found right here in the previous episodes of Running: A FEVER. Particularly, I can look back to 2018 and go through what I was doing back then. What exercise was I doing? What diet was I eating. And we’re going to do that. Stay tuned!
