Do you do New Year’s resolutions? What are your goals for the next year. Why not set them now so you can get a head start? That’s what I like to do, and this year is no exception. I started doing this when I started the podcast. I did a ‘Life Plan’ in November of 2017. And since then I have looked at this time of year as a time for planning the coming year.

I set some pretty good goals for 2018 and achieved them, though modified, by the end of the year. In 2019, it is November as I write this and I am still not at less than twenty percent bodyfat, which is my goal for this year (technically 15%). It doesn’t look like I am going to hit that by the end of the year. At this point, I would have to do unhealthy things to get there, and I don’t do that anymore.

So my goal is very similar for 2020. Just the bodyfat number, I’m choosing 20%, because, why not? It’s 2020, so 20 in ’20. Has a nice ring to it. I want to do this without losing muscle, and I need to get back to the things I know I should be doing but that I am not doing, such as counting calories. After all, it’s hard to achieve a goal of I don’t measure progress.
