These are shoes specifically designed for weightlifting. They came in a nice box completely black except for the Adidas name and logo in white.
This is the Adidas Powerlift 4 in blue, because I have chosen blue as my default color for 2019.
Weightlifting shoes should not bounce like running or walking shoes. The sole is hard and solid. For more security, the uppers are strong canvas, and there are both laces and a wide velcro strap. The bottom of the shoe has a minimal design on it and virtually no tread.
The version of the Adidas white stripes stop before reaching the top of the shoe and are only on the outside of the shoe (left side of the left shoe, right side of the right shoe).
I tested these in the video using dumbbells at home. I’ll be wearing these to the gym on my weightlifting days, though I am a little concerned about walking in them during my warmups.
Please visit the resources page at http://RunningAFEVER.com if you’d like to buy yourself a pair of these.
