I take a day off from exercise. I’ve solicited advice from a couple of people, and I talk about that advice and how I am weighing it. It was suggested that I do something low-impact like using an elliptical machine. I don’t have access to one of those, so I am planning to walk tomorrow.
This time off is showing me how much energy I have. I really want to go out and do something. I use the time off to do those things I was talking about yesterday, and I am going to take this time that I am used to taking for exercise and do what I need to do to recover.
I also want to put more emphasis on my diet. I got some lettuce at the store today!
I don’t think I’ll be doing a podcast every day that I don’t work out, but I wanted to do this one just to get this information out. I’m going to use this setback as an opportunity to figure out what to do in these situation, and to learn how to move forward. I learned a new acronym, R.I.C.E – Rest, Ice, Compress, and Elevate.
